Please book your massage therapy minimum 1 or 2 days before your planned visit to Szechenyi Thermal Bath, possibly weeks before the date of the visit. Please note that massage is only for bath guests in Szechenyi Baths owning a valid bath ticket.

Please note that Szechenyi Baths pools are for children over 14. More about Children in Szechenyi Bath by following the link to the article. We recommend taking under 14 kids to one of the following Budapest lidos or pools: Palatinus Furdo (summer time open air lido on Margaret Island) or Dagaly Furdo (summer time open air lido on the Pest side, by Arpad Bridge) where thermal baths and children pools are simultaneously available.
You can also check out the latest prices at the entrance on the ticket boards at Szechenyi Baths before purchasing your tickets. You can buy your baths tickets each day until 9 pm at the cashiers (1 hour before the closing time of the outdoor pools).
There are various tickets, including discount bath tickets for early morning swimmers (from approx. 7 am to 9 am-ish). You can also get a discount with Budapest Card (tickets can only be purchased at the cashier with no pre-booking. The Budapest Card discount is applicable to full price tickets only).
Refunding Prices of Tickets
Note: The old system of bath ticket refunding is not in use any more in Szechenyi Baths. It does not matter how long you are using your tickets, for 1 or 2 or 6 hours, the length of use will not mean refunding the price based on hours.

hello. my name is mona. i am just confused on booking a ticket for fast track entry (euro) + private cabin – cost for this as per online info on weekdays is €18/person. I am trying to book for 5th june, 2017 (monday) but it says on the online booking form that i need a weekend ticket for this date & it is charging me €19/person i am just wondering why, as it’s a monday that i am booking. another thing that confused me is about the cabin charge. we are a family of 5 person, if i pay €18/person that means all 5 of us will get one private cabin each, am i correct? as that is the inclusion of the €18.

as the 5th of June will be Whit Monday, and bank holiday in Hungary, the baths are charging weekend fees.
If you book tickets for EUR 19/ person you will get 5 cabins. You can save some euros by buying for example 3 tickets with lockers and 2 with cabins, so you can share the cabins.
Unfortunately, there is no different pricing for children or for families at Szechenyi Spa Baths.

the maximum capacity of the massage rooms is 2 guests (for the 50 and 70 min massages only).
You can buy any type of massages and give us your preferred starting hour for the treatment. We will try to book you in for the same time or next to each other.

children & babies who are not dry and clean yet (being potty trained) are not allowed in the pools, not even with a swimming nappy. This usually applies to children under 3 years of age. Babies and toddlers can come with you to the bath, and stay outside the pool area.
As most of the outdoor and indoor pools and baths at Szechenyi Baths are more than 33 degrees Celsius, which means increased stress for the cardiovascular system of kids, whose body is not fully developed yet to be able to cope with the heat of the bath waters.
