Please book your massage therapy minimum 1 or 2 days before your planned visit to Szechenyi Thermal Bath, possibly weeks before the date of the visit. Please note that massage is only for bath guests in Szechenyi Baths owning a valid bath ticket.

Please note that Szechenyi Baths pools are for children over 14. More about Children in Szechenyi Bath by following the link to the article. We recommend taking under 14 kids to one of the following Budapest lidos or pools: Palatinus Furdo (summer time open air lido on Margaret Island) or Dagaly Furdo (summer time open air lido on the Pest side, by Arpad Bridge) where thermal baths and children pools are simultaneously available.
You can also check out the latest prices at the entrance on the ticket boards at Szechenyi Baths before purchasing your tickets. You can buy your baths tickets each day until 9 pm at the cashiers (1 hour before the closing time of the outdoor pools).
There are various tickets, including discount bath tickets for early morning swimmers (from approx. 7 am to 9 am-ish). You can also get a discount with Budapest Card (tickets can only be purchased at the cashier with no pre-booking. The Budapest Card discount is applicable to full price tickets only).
Refunding Prices of Tickets
Note: The old system of bath ticket refunding is not in use any more in Szechenyi Baths. It does not matter how long you are using your tickets, for 1 or 2 or 6 hours, the length of use will not mean refunding the price based on hours.

unfortunately, there are no available 1-hour tickets at Szechenyi Spa Baths. As the afternoon tickets are available only from 5pm, I am afraid you will need to buy full day tickets around 1pm.

a towel, and the usual things what you need in a bath.
Taking photos at the baths is not regulated. In other words, currently there are no photography permission rules at Szechenyi Baths, so yes, you can bring your camera, mobile phone and take pictures and videos at the world famous bath complex. Please find more information following this link:

On the left hand panel of this website, I am able to see that I am only able to check in from 9 am to 6 pm for the online bookings. I was actually planning to get there by 8 pm and staying until 10 pm. Will this be an issue or is there a way to pick up and check in after 6 pm ?

with online tickets the earliest check-in time is 9 am, sorry for the inconvenience. If you wish to arrive to the Baths earlier, you need to buy the ticket on the spot, at the cashiers. Thank you for your understanding.

I need to bring personal belongings like my purse and other stuff with me. When you buy a ticket with a cabin, is the cabin locked? or is it best to buy a ticket with a locker?

you can store your belongings in the cabins or lockers.
The door of the cabin has a unique chip code lock, which opens and closes with a special waterproof bracelet: in fact, with the chip incorporated in the wristband bath entry provided at the bath. Please make sure that your door is locked with the silicon wristband before leaving the cabin. As you are wearing the band all the times, it is quite secure if you make sure that the door is not left open.
