Aroma massage in Szechenyi Spa Baths is the ideal choice for those who feel too much tension in their body and mind, and wish to combine their massage treatment with aromatherapy to give a boost to the limbic system.
Counter the damage done by your body’s chronic stress response. The Aroma Massage is one of the most popular massage treatments: the 20 or 45 minutes refreshing Swedish style massage therapy is mixed with aromatic oils. The fragrance is absorbed by the skin, while it is also inhaled.
The relaxing massage movements will relieve you of muscle pains to help to make you feel balanced and harmony through releasing endorphins in your body.
Please note that massage treatments is only for bath guests who have a valid bath ticket in Szechenyi Baths.
Massage is not available for guests under 14 or for expectant mums (i.e. during pregnancy).

Aromatic Oils of Harmony Aroma Massage
You can choose from different aromatic oils. The aroma of your choice does not affect the price.

If you have valid tickets to Szechenyi Bath you can purchase massage on the same website (same date with 1 hour check in prior to the confirmed treatment).
Bookings are available 30 days in advance in the calendar.

Hello – Your informative website indicates that massages are offered until 6 pm (18:00). I will be visiting on a Friday in early October. May I book a 6 pm aroma massage for 45 min? I would like to check in at 5 pm and soak until the 6 pm massage if that is possible.

Kindly note that individual massages are available on a last minute basis if any left after the double or couple massages have been reserved as part of the private spa package. Essentially, due to high demand and limited scope, there are currently two ways to arrange massages at Szechenyi Thermal Baths:
For advance booking, massage treatments are available as part of the so called Private Spa Packages (this does not include a literal private spa bath pool, but includes a private room for a limited time). Each package is designed for a minimum of 2 guests (or buying minimum two places) and includes bath admission plus two massages at the same appointment time in a shared massage room. For this reason, we recommend not purchasing separate admission tickets if you are planning to pre-book massages.
Once the private spa booking calendar dates are released, typically 1 month before the date, you can simply book one Private Spa Package for every 2 guests, subject to availability, if you are happy with the package and the booking conditions. Kindly note that the booking is non-changeable, non-refundable, the massage hour is fixed, and the treatment is in a shared room (therapist preferences are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed) For an odd number of guests, e.g. for a single guest or 3 guests, please note that the packages and massage rooms are arranged for two, so the additional treatment place would also need to be purchased to secure a massage in advance.
Alternatively, regular stand-alone massages (for individual guests or for ticket holders who inquire at the last minute) may be available from the remaining appointments on the day – these places change seasonally depending on the number of pre-bookings and potential last minute cancellations. You can inquire about last minute spots upon arrival at the cashier of the baths, subject to availability. Remaining slots are typically available for the earliest hours around 8 am on a weekday (Mon-Thu), depending on the season.
While we appreciate that the current arrangement may offer less flexibility for individual guests, it reflects the limited massage capacity and the high demand for treatments at Széchenyi Baths, with advance appointments therefore prioritised within the Private Spa Packages.
