Spring in Szechenyi Baths also means some regular maintenance works. Although the bath is open 365 days a year, occasionally it is needed to close down some of the 18 pools to provide the best water and pool quality for the bath guests.
These are the upcoming maintenance works of the outdoor pools in Szechenyi Baths during the spring pool maintenance works in 2018. Please note that the spring maintenance does not affect the 15 indoor pools, only 1 of the 3 outdoor pools.
- the outdoor pool with the fun whirlpool is open
- the outdoor thermal pool (sitting pool with no whirl pool, but several chess players) is open
- the outdoor swimming pool (the middle pool) is closed between Jul 23 and Jul 25

I would like to visit the baths tomorrow. What is the difference between the entry + cabin and the entry + locker? Can I leave my bag in the cabin, or will I need a locker too? Are there facilities to get changed even if we don’t book a cabin?

Yes, you can leave your luggage in the cabin, you don’t need both.
If you book a ticket with a locker only, you can change in the common changing room.

Hi, the website says that on May 28th all 3 outdoor pools are closed until 2 pm, but a comment above says only 1 outdoor pool is closed.

Hello, Can a couple share a cabin when one of us purchased a ticket with cabin and another one purchase a regular ticket? If I purchase ticket in advance, do I get a cabin reserved for a day or cabin may be full and I still need to wait for a cabin? thx!

yes, it is possible to share a cabin.
Please note that the cabins are not reserved. If the day is very busy, you might need to wait a bit for a cabin, or you will be offered to have a locker instead.

It is possible to buy your tickets on the spot, at the Cashier, but these will not be fast track bath entries.
The online purchased tickets provide skip the line entries.
