BOOKING a massage

You can pre-book Szechenyi Bath massage treatments for any available day with the booking conditions in the booking form and in the T&C (we have specifically highlighted the weak points of the massage booking procedure so that you are aware of the less favourable conditions before payment is made).

Massage Hours and Check-in Time

Massages in Szechenyi Baths are available between 9 am and 6 pm every day. Please add your preferred massage hour in the booking form, to help us book you in closest to your preferred hours (actual hours of massages are sent in a follow-up email). The confirmed massage hour will be sent to you via email, if you do not receive it, please contact us in due time. If, for any reasons you cannot find this email, please contact us via email at info [at] szechenyibath.com.

Please check-in at the online ticket desk personally 1 hour before the massage hour, so that you can be ready in swimwear by the time the massage hour begins. Please no not enter by scanning the QR code but find the colleagues who can check you in for the massage treatment. Since the bath complex is large, a guidance from the check in staff will be required in order to find your treatment room.

IMPORTANT:
Massages are automatically cancelled – without a right to refund -, if guests do not check in min. 1 hour before the massage starts.

Prices of Massage Package Include

The price of the massage is a package price, which includes 3 things:

1. Massage treatment
2. Bath Ticket to Szechenyi Bath
3. Locker or a private changing cabin to get dressed and store your belongings or Locker (depending on the package type of your choice)

Booking a Massage

Massage treatments are very popular in Szechenyi Baths, especially at the weekends (all year). Please book your therapy at least 4 days ahead by indicating the hours that best suit you (please allow a 3-4 hour time range).

Massage treatments take place in private massage/ treatment rooms. Kindly note that the 20min massages (depending on how busy the bath is) are take place in the small medical treatment rooms (with white tiles) while 45 min massages are performed in massage rooms with more spa environment.

Book your massage at Szechenyi Bath comfortably now: 2 in 1 package, the price of the massage includes the entrance to the bath too. The masseuses for these massages below are the official medical massage therapists of Szechenyi Baths (other massage salons also rent places in the bath).

Massage is not available for guests under 14 or for expectant mums (i.e. during pregnancy). Thank you for your understanding.

Once the massage appointment has been booked, it will confirmed to you via email.

Kindly note that massage appointments can not be changed, once they have been booked. If you are unable to attend kindly email us 3 days in advance to change the name on the reservation.

Cancellations and refund requests are unfortunately not accepted.

Prices of Massage at Szechenyi Baths

The price of the massage package includes the  massage treatment and the entrance ticket. The ticket is a full day entrance.

20 min massage packages are available for €84 with full day bath ticket.

45 min massage packages are available for €104 with full day bath ticket.

Kindly note that the most economical option is to pay tickets and massages by cash at the cashier on the spot in Hungarian Forints (tickets and services subject to availability).

Bath Ticket + Aroma Massage (45 min) at Szechenyi Baths: for 104 Euros. 45 min gentle massage with a professional medical masseuse at Széchenyi Bath. The entrance fee is included in the price, as is the private changing cabin (cubicle). The full body massage is performed with Grape seed oil or Aloe Vera Massage oil.

Bath Ticket + Refreshing Massage (45 min) at Szechenyi Baths: for 84 Euros. 20 min moderately stronger massage with a professional medical masseuse at Széchenyi Bath. The entrance fee is included in the price, as is the private changing cabin (cubicle). Short (20 Minutes) Massages in Szechenyi Bath

The Aroma Massage, is a Swedish massage therapy treating the upper body (back, shoulders, neck areas), easing the muscle tensions and general stress. with gentle movements. During the 20 minute massage, fragrance-free, warm aromatic oil is used to enhance the effects of the massage treatment.
This massage is a calm, relaxing treatment using slow, tender movements pampering delicate muscles.

The Refreshing Massage is a relatively stronger treatment, the massage therapist works with moderately stronger techniques, kneading the deep tissues (please kindly note that it is not a strong massage, only moderately stronger). Before starting your massage at Szechenyi Baths, please let the massage therapist know what you are expecting from the massage: a general refreshment, certain symptom relief in a given area (e.g. around your waist, in your upper arms), or if you have any special health conditions you feel important to share with the therapist.

Also, please do let the therapist know if you are uncomfortable to be touched in certain areas any areas that are out of your comfort zone: as the therapist will follow the muscles, guided by the muscle tension it needs to be pointed out if your limits are at a certain point where you do not wish to be massaged. It is absolutely of importance to make sure You feel safe and well massaged without feeling inconvenient or embarrassed.
