Please can you confirm what facilities are / will be available in February 2016. Please can you also confirm if tourists need to bring their own towels etc. with them as I note guests have been disappointed with the service.

bringing your own towel is recommended, however you can use the rental facilities of Szechenyi Baths as well. You can rent towels for the following prices:
Simple Bath Sheet: HUF 500 (deposit HUF 1,000)
Towel (a bit smaller, but thicker and fluffier than the bath sheet): HUF 1,000 (deposit HUF 2,000)

the national holiday does not effect the opening hours of the Baths. Szechenyi Baths will be open every day from 6 am to 10 pm (indoor pools close at 7 pm).

We just arrived back in America and had such a wonderful time in Budapest. It was totally safe, beautiful and we could communicate very easily. This bath house was one of my biggest highlights of our trip. It was truly a delight.

even though Nov 1 is a national holiday in Hungary, the Baths will be open as usual, from 6 am to 10 pm (indoor pools close at 7 pm).
