Depending on the Euro currency, for almost the same price you would pay at the cashier of Szechenyi Baths, but if you are on a tight budget, you can save some Euros by queuing at the Cashier in Szechenyi Thermal Bath. Please note that party tickets are sold separately, and are not identical with the bath tickets.

Party Tickets: Bath party tickets in Szechenyi Bath are different from regular bath tickets. The bath ticket is only valid until the closing hours (which can seasonally change), while Sparty tickets are valid on Saturday nights from the party starting hours (normally 1-2 hours after the normal closing times). Full Day Entry in Szechenyi Baths
In Hungarian Forint, you can buy your bath entry for the same price as at the cashier, but you do not need to stand in a line for an indefinite time, which can take a couple of minutes on a weekday outside the tourist season or an hour in the peak tourism months on a weekend (a life saviour on hot summer days, and cold winter peak days).
You can buy your peace of mind, buy purchasing QR Code-enabled Expedited tickets. The check-in is quicker using the entry gates as you will scan your QR codes at the machines then head to the changing areas.
Please note that massage treatments are currently not bookable on our site. Online tickets are confirmed via email: the confirmation email is your bath e-ticket proof, so if you have a smartphone with wifi access, you can buy your ticket instantly. Kindly note that the first confirmation of purchase will be followed up by a second email that contains your QR code.
To save You time and effort, and also to reduce the long lines in peak times at Szechenyi Bath Budapest, you can also purchase your bath ticket, and some of the massage treatments online in advance.

Can you explain why it is not possible to book on line from 8 to 17th of August? If we just turn up will we be able to get access? I note that some on line booking agents are accepting on line bookings for August 11, provided you don’t want a locker or change room.

The baths will be open during the Sziget Festival week. From the previous year’s experiences, Szechenyi baths will be crowded.
Tickets will be available exclusively upon arrival to avoid guests standing there with pre-booked tickets and unable to check in (in case the baths get full entering is on a 1in -1 out basis).
Waiting time can take up to 30-60 minutes. I hope this makes sense.

Szechenyi Bath offers reduced tickets 2 hours before closing (available exclusively on the spot). However since the evening tickets are only appr. €1 cheaper, we recommend you spend at least a half day, enjoying different pools and saunas and take your time to relax.

The online tickets are normally not available for festive periods such as Christmas or New Year, tickets will be available exclusively upon arrival.
As the festive weekends are generally busy we are not able to guarantee the availability as the bathhouse often gets close to the maximum capacity. In that case, guests can enter on a 1 in-1 out basis which means long queues.
We recommend the arrival around 9 am as most guests are coming around 11 or early afternoon.

The December 31 planned opening hours in Szechenyi Bath is 8 am to 6 pm.
