The bath party is traditionally scheduled for Dec 30 as a pre-NYE event, with special light effects as a winter edition of the popular Cinetrip sparty series.
More about New Year Club in Budapest, clubbing, things to do, parties, events on and around Dec 31. Don’t forget that it’s easier and safer to travel and party if you are double vaccinated against Covid. Having a Covid passport is not compulsory, but it definitely helps to cross borders and attend public events with peace of mind. Looking forward to welcoming you to say farewell to another year. The party organisers in Szechenyi Bath reserve the right to make changes to the sparty programme. The party is on whether it rains or snows: the thermal water will keep you warm and there are protective layers placed around the pool areas. Please feel free to bring your own bathrobe or buy a special memorabilia Sparty Bath Robe on the spot. Towel rental is not available, so please bring your own, or again, you can buy a Sparty logo towel when checking in.

Please note that traditionally it is a pre-NYE Party, dated for Dec 30 every year.

Hello Anca, The bath party is a pre New Year’s Eve Party on Dec 30, 2019 (it does not go into 2020).

Thank you for your inquiry about services between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 7, 2020 in the baths.
Due to the high number of visitors during the festive winter days, the thermal baths’ managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during these days, with the notable exception of the pre-NYE night party tickets, which will be bookable for December 30 as usual (in Szechenyi Baths https://szechenyibath.com/szechenyi-baths-new-year-bath-party/).
Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. As long queues are expected there may be some lines waiting in the cold. Please find more details, advice and other thermal bath alternatives on the following link: BathsBudapest.com/Dec

Thank you for your comment. Based on a managerial decision no fast track/online tickets are going to be sold during the upcoming Festive Season (between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 07, 2020). The bath will be open from 10 am on 1st Jan, 2020 and you can purchase tickets on the spot. Please note that Gellert Spa is a very popular destination for tourists so you are kindly recommended to go there early because the tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
