      Hello Kar,
Since March 1 no covid passports are required to enter the baths.
Hope we can welcome you at Szechenyi Spa Baths!

  4. Can we use crocs instead of flip flops?

    • Dear Apo,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Flip flops – Slippers – Clogs – Bath Policy for Poolside Footwear
Inside the bath building by the communal and pool areas and also on the corridors ‘bath footwear’ is required (typically, waterproof slippers or flip flops): it is mandatory for health and safety reasons.
If you do not have flip flops or slippers or clogs, you can buy a pair at the entrance (subject to availability, limited styles and sizes).
Note: Beach shoes / aqua shoes are also accepted, strictly outside the pool waters though (kindly take them off before entering the pools).

Streetwear or Sports Sandals – not allowed Footwear at Széchenyi Bath
For safety and hygiene reasons, certain types of footwear are preferred within the spa areas of thermal Baths (strictly outside the pool water, on the corridors and communal areas), while street-style sandals—even if they resemble slippers—are unfortunately not permitted.
Comfortable, waterproof slip-on shoes such as Crocs-style clogs or simple poolside sandals (with open or closed toes) are welcome and commonly used by bath visitors. While these may also be worn outdoors, we recommend bringing a separate pair exclusively for spa use, to ensure maximum hygiene.
