Thank you for your inquiry about services between Dec 24, 2019, and Jan 7, 2020 in the baths.
Due to the high number of visitors during the festive winter days, the thermal baths’ managerial decision was made that no fast track entries or cabins (changing cubicles) are sold during these days, with the notable exception of the pre-NYE night party tickets, which will be bookable for December 30 as usual (in Szechenyi Baths https://szechenyibath.com/szechenyi-baths-new-year-bath-party/).
Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. As long queues are expected there may be some lines waiting in the cold. Please find more details, advice and other thermal bath alternatives on the following link: BathsBudapest.com/Dec

Tickets can be purchased in HUF in case use pay cash. Other than that, you can always use a credit card.

Hello, my family of 4 people total want to enter the baths sometime between today January 3rd and Sunday January 5th. Are advance tickets sold out? If so, would we still be able to get in if we show up in person to buy tickets there?

Thank you for your inquiry about services on April 12th and 13th, 2020 in the baths. While we normally would recommend online bookings to secure your appointments or entries, during the Easter Holiday Season (April 12th and 13th 2020) the city attracts half a million extra tourists, which makes online fast track tickets to Szechenyi Baths and Gellert Spa simply non-fast track. Hence the managerial decision was made that no fast track entries, cabins (changing cubicles) or massages are sold during those days. Guests of day time visit will be checked in on a first-come-first-served basis. Unfortunately, we expect long queues due to the increased demand, even long lines outside of the building.
