Tourists visiting Szechenyi Spa Baths are often puzzled by the various tickets: there are separate prices of entry for tickets with lockers and tickets with cabins. But what is a cabin in Szechenyi Baths and what is a locker? Do you need them at all?
Well, first of all, there are no plain tickets without a locker or a cabin.
Secondly, both lockers and cabins are for storing your belongings while you are enjoying the indoor baths and outdoor pools at Szechenyi Baths. Lockers are standard wardrobe type boxes with a lock on them (like the ones at train stations or at standard swimming pools). The size of the locker is 120x30x65 cm (1200 x 300 x 650 mm).
Cabins, on the other hand, are smallish changing rooms combined with storage facilities. In a bath cabin, you can get changed privately AND store your items in a safe place.
The cabin comfortably accommodates one person, so if you are a couple it might seem a bit tight, but you can take turns in getting changed (of course, the same applies to families or smaller groups too). As cabins take up more space and ensure your privacy, bath entries with cabin use (or more precisely, cabin hire) are more expensive than simple lockers. If you buy the cheaper bath entries with lockers, you will have to get changed in the women-only / men-only public changing rooms, and then store your bags in the lockers. If you wish to have your own privacy or are shy, cabins are definitely an ideal solution. Regular swimming pool goers will be fine with the lockers we assume.
Hi , me and my friend have bought a duo premium ticket for a Sparty does this mean we will get 2 lockers? As we will both have suitcase hand luggage with us
Katie
Hello Katie,
we have contacted you via email.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the Sparty.
Hi
Do you offer a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children?
Thanks
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
unfortunately, there is no different pricing for children at Szechenyi Spa Baths, so you will have to buy a full priced adult tickets for the children too.
As the thermal water is not recommended for younger children, we would like to invite you to read our FAQ’s about children at Szechenyi Spa Baths:

Have a lovely time in the Baths!
Hi
so just to confirm any ticket you buy (the bath party for example) comes with a locker ?
Dear Gary,
thank you for your comment.
I am afraid, there are no plain tickets without a locker or a cabin to Szechenyi Baths.
The tickets to the bath can be purchased with ‘cabin use’, or with lockers. The cabin is an extra service on behalf of Szechenyi Baths (plus they take up a lot of room), so the tickets with cabins are approx. 1.5 Euro more expensive than the standard bath tickets. It is up to you if you want to have a more upgraded service at Szechenyi Bath or you are fine with the cheaper bath tickets, which do not include the use of a cabin.
The cabins at Szechenyi Bath can comfortably take up 1 person, and a bit more tightly even a couple to get changed
Booking online and get your fast track entries is highly suggested, as the queues are often long at the Cashiers.

Have a great time in Szechenyi Baths Budapest.
Hi,
So does this mean that if I were to buy a single premium ticket online, this will include a locker when I arrive? Even though it doesn’t state on the ticket description that the locker is included like it does with the cabin on the trio ticket.
Hello Joe,
yes, lockers are always included if there is no cabin in the offer.
There are no tickets without some kind of storage.
Is it ok to keep suitcase in cabin as we coming straight from airport?
Dear Peter,
the cabin is like a tiny room, or cubicle, which can store a standard check in suitcase easily.
The cabin size is approx. that of a dressing room in a clothes shop, so you can leave there the 20 kg suitcase as well ( if it is a regular size) along with your jackets etc.
The door of the cabin has a unique chip code lock, which opens and closes with a special waterproof bracelet: in fact, with the chip incorporated in the wristband bath entry provided at the bath. Please make sure that your door is locked with the silicon wristband before leaving the cabin. As you are wearing the band all the times, it is quite secure if you make sure that the door is not left open.
Hope we can welcome you at Szechenyi Spa Baths!
Dear Vincent,
