How much are bath tickets for children at Szechenyi Baths Budapest?
Please note that from 2025, entry to the bath is only permitted for guests aged 14 and above (photo ID may be required if in doubt). We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. The only exception is if the child is issued a medical certificate requiring the use of thermal waters for a condition – prescribed by the GP / doctor.
Are there any discounts for kids at the medicinal bath complex? No, unfortunately children tickets cost the same as adult tickets. Currently all the prices at Szechenyi Baths are flat. Under 2 Children in Szechenyi Bath
Bath entry is not available to any age of children under 14, not even to toddlers under 2 or babies, which basically means that children under 2 years old can no longer enter the bath building.
Children 3 – 17 Year Olds in Szechenyi Bath
There are no children discounts in the bath, not even student discounts. 14-25 year old visitors are required to have an adult ticket.
School groups, similarly, get no discounts and are kindly encouraged to select a bath in Budapest which is specifically geared towards children / young adults with chutes, slides, inflatables, and general excitement and merriment. We would suggest from April till mid October the following mixed baths where open air and indoor facilities are also available: Palatinus Bath, Dagaly Bath, Paskal Bath, Csillaghegyi Bath. For a full on water theme park, we would recommend AquaWorld north of the city centre (approx. 1h by coach in Budapest).
OAP / Senior Citizen Discounts
There are no cheaper tickets for pensioners / the elderly people accompanying children.
Disability
Unfortunately, there are no discounts for disabled children or disable adults or their companions in Szechenyi Bath.

I would be visiting the pool on 21st August with wife and two kids
1 – 13 years old and. 1- 9 years old. Which all pools can they use , please suggest.

Children under 14 are not allowed to enter the thermal baths (the pools with hot spring waters).
Children aged 3 – 13 have a limited access to the thermal baths in Szechenyi Spa Bath, as follows:
There are 3 pools outside, out of which, two can be visited by families where the children are under 14: the whirlpool thermal pool and the lap swimming pool (not the 3rd pool with a hotter temperature).
