The entry to Szechenyi Bath is slightly cheaper on weekdays (Monday – Thursday are considered weekdays while Fridays – Sundays are weekends when it comes to Budapest thermal bath reservation). If you wish to shave off some Euros from the ticket price you can purchase your weekday ticket on the spot (subject to availability). Alternatively, you can buy your bath ticket online (the inclusions are enlisted in the booking form) to secure your place in the spa for a given day. Please note that national holidays are not weekdays, and some of the weekdays near national holidays are re-scheduled as holidays. If in doubt, please inquire via email or on the spot.
Entries are valid from 9 am to 7 pm (the opening hours may change seasonally, so again, please make sure to double check the current opening times before planning your visit). Normally, check-in time is between 9 am – 5.45 pm at the self-checkin.
Please pick a day in the calendar to make a valid purchase.
I just purchased tickets for 8/3/2018 through your website. How are the tickets sent to me?
Hi we are a family of 4 people and I wanted to make a reservation for the spa and a massage for all 4 of us ( 2 men aged 44 and 21, and 2 females aged 40 and 18 ) what do we need to bring along and how do I go about the reservation.
Thank you .
Hello Minita,
thank you for your email.
Should you wish to have massages in the spa, in advance, online booking is highly suggested as the massage hours are limited:
https://szechenyibath.com/massage/
Once you make the payment, we will book you in for a treatment, which is the closest to your preferred hours.
Please note that we can only book a massage after payment has taken place as massage hours are limited. Once payment has come through, as pointed out earlier, we will strive to book you in closest to your preferred massage hours. If we cannot offer a suitable time for you, the price of the massage will be refunded.
Apart from your massage hours, you can visit the bath before or after your massage treatment too (the tickets are for the whole day in fact, for the indoor and outdoor pools and facilities). Please note that we kindly ask guests to arrive minimum 1 hour before the massage begins to be ready for the massage.
Please find a link below on the topc of what to bring to the spa:

I hope I could be of help.
Is private changing cabin is included with weekday Bath tickets or it’s only works as skip the line option?
Hello Alla,
thank you for your email.
It is up to you whether you wish to buy a ticket with a private cabin or with only a locker. All online purchased spa entries provide fast track entries.
A whole day ticket with a private cabin is EUR 20 (EUR 21 on weekends).

Hi, I was at your baths about 15 years ago and I remember that we were given money back for not spending the whole day at the baths. Is it still true? I’m planning a visit at SzB with my family- 3 kids aged 8-11-14 and I’m not sure how long will they be able to stay there
Kasia
Hi Katarzyne,
unfortunately this system is no longer in use, there is no refund for shorter stay any more. More info: https://szechenyibath.com/is-there-a-refund-at-szechenyi-baths-szechenyi-bath-faq/
If I purchase a weekday ticket online, is it good for any weekday or do I need to purchase for a specific date?
Dear Melanie,
yes, you will need to select a specific date in the booking form.
Hi, I just bought 2 tickets online with a credit card but didn’t see the cheaper ‘weekday’ price drop-down menu for 20 euros. I clicked on the first choice at the top which was 21 Euros. We are going next Monday. Is it possible to change the charge to my credit card to 40 Euros instead of 42?
Hello Myra,
thank you for your email.
Please send a refund request to info@szechenyispabaths.com.
I hope I could be of help.
