The Palm House offers an exotic spa oasis for those who want to have a relaxing day amongst the lush foliage and cozy hammocks in a serene environment.
Palm House Spa
Entrance to the Palm House in Szechenyi Baths is not included in the standard bath ticket price, which makes the oasis exclusive, a calm and special place for those who crave relaxation, meditation, recharging their batteries in a true spa environment.
Although you need to buy a special entry to enjoy the Palm House and its services, we think it is worth a little splurge, and is good value for money, if you want to spend a day or a half in Szechenyi Baths, and feel completely re-invigorated. Exclusively, this is the only package that includes rental services currently.
Szechenyi Baths has hundreds (in summer usually thousands) of guests on a given day, which makes this beautiful palace a happy place for many guests, but it cannot convey the feeling of tranquility to some guests who want to feel relaxed in a less busy place, in a more silent environment. Thank you for reaching out about the massage and Palm House packages. Kindly note that Mondays are generally less busy than weekends.
The Palm House package on our site includes a full day (weekend or weekday) bath entry, a private changing cubicle (for storage and getting changed), rentals, drinks etc. All services are subject to availability on a given day. The closer the date is, the less chance is for available slots.

Thank you for contacting us about a planned massage at Szechenyi Baths.
All massage therapists at the thermal baths in Budapest are registered and highly qualified therapists who have a medical massage certificate, which is a strictly outlined qualification (stricter than normal massage therapist requirements).

I’d like to visit the baths in July from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. I am booking the Days Palm package, but it closes at 6:00 pm.
My question is:
After 6:00 pm, will I still have access to the private changing cabin to change out of my swimsuit?
Will I be able to access and leave my belongings there until the baths close at 8:00 pm?
Or will I have to move my belongings and pay for a separate locker for those two hours (on top of already paying for the expensive Palm package)?

Thank you very much for your message.
While the package includes a cabin (changing cubicle), the cabins – on the ground floor – are located two floors below the Palm House – on the 2nd floor – and are connected by a lift, so you’ll be able to access them easily even after the Palm House has closed. There is no need to move your belongings or pay for a separate locker.
Yes, you may continue using your private cabin until closing time at 8:00 pm. While the Palm House itself closes at 6:00 pm, your cabin remains accessible afterwards. All pools must be emptied by 7:30 pm, but you are welcome to return to your cabin to change and collect your belongings any time until almost 8:00 pm (8pm meaning the closing of the gates of the building).

We would like to enjoy the Palm House upgrade with Full Day Entry & Cabin, plus Rentals, Fruits, Tea, Cocktail. Access to rooftop greenhouse style relaxation area. However or flight does not arrive until 10:50am on August 30th so we would like to check into our hotel and drop off bags and then come to the spa around 1pm- How do we arrange? I am sure we can get the hotel to arrange our taxi since the timing will be fluid.
