We regret to admit that not everyone in the personnel of the thermal baths speaks advanced English, therefore, some tourists feel an English map for navigating within the spa bath complex of Szechenyi Furdo would be helpful.

we will soon send you our group offers.
Hope we can welcome you at Szechenyi Spa Baths!
We are coming to budapest in a few weeks and old like to come to baths in the evening
Are we able to book this or do we just turn up
Hello Anne,
Szechenyi Spa Baths is open until 7pm on weekdays and 8pm on weekends.
Reduced tickets are available 2 hours before closing. Since they are only appr €1 cheaper we recommend you arrive in the afternoon and spend at least 3 or 4 hours at the bathhouse so you can take time to relax and enjoy various thermal pools.
You can buy entries upon arrival or pre-book your online tickets.
Hi are we able to hire towels and robes on the day, if so how much are they. Thanks
Hello Lindsey,
Thank you for getting in touch.
We recommend bringing your own towels, as rental services are suspended since the Covid pandemic.
You can purchase a towel on the spot: the fluffy towel makes a nice gift and serves as a keepsake towel embroidered with the Szechenyi Bath logo for HUF 6,000 (Bathrobes are available for HUF 12,000).
Alternatively, you can purchase a disposable towel at a fraction of the cost. For environmental reasons, as part of green tourism, we kindly ask you to consider bringing your own lightweight towel. Microfibre towels are reusable, super absorbing and ultra lightweight, suitable for carrying around the city.

Hello, Is it possible to book in advance for massage or only when you arrive on the day ?
Hello Clodagh,
we have sent you an email about your Szechenyi Bath massage booking request.
Enjoy your winter holiday in Budapest!
I’ll be in Budapest from the 7th to the 10th of April, and I’m trying to buy 2 tickets and I’m not getting it through the website.
How do I purchase tickets and be able to visit them?
Hello Flavio,
Thank you for your inquiry.
The baths will be open during Easter. From the previous year’s experiences, the baths will be crowded, therefore no pre-booked bookings are accepted.
Tickets will be available exclusively upon arrival to avoid guests standing there with pre-booked tickets and unable to check in (in case the baths get full entering is on a 1in -1 out basis).
Waiting time can take up to 30-60 minutes.
I hope this makes sense.
I would like to reserve a full day at the Palm House Section in September 2023. What services are offered with extra booking in advance? Massages (what type)?…Facials? etc etc. Any information you can provide me would be appreciated.
Hello Trish,
We have contacted you via email!
